Buying used: 2012 Mercedes E-Class still exudes class

Arguably the most visually appealing E-class model was the new coupe. From its arrowhead front end to a back deck evocative of some Mercedes models of the 1950s, this one was – and is – a knockout

Mercedes CLA 250 too sophisticated for its own good

Despite its uniqueness, I found Mercedes CLA 250 to be kind of annoying to drive. It's a well-styled automobile with a tastefully done interior but the many unnecessary bells and whistles really brought down its driveability

Mercedes GLS 450 is big, bold and pricey

The Mercedes-Benz GLS 450 is a full-size SUV with power, luxury and performance. It weighs 2,480 kg, is 5.2 metres long and has a 3.135-metre wheelbase. It’s mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission and comes with Mercedes’ 4Matic all-wheel drive

A cheap, Smart runabout with few equals

Best of all, perhaps, it’s remained relatively unchanged over the years (shown is the 2016 model year, which received a modest restyling) and, for those in the market for a thrifty used car runabout, it’s cheap like borscht
