Reinventing how Canadians stay in touch

Author: Robin Speer

As a public policy and communications professional with more than 20 years of experience in the private, public, and non-profit sectors across Canada, Robin Speer joined the Canadian Taxpayers Federation as Prairie Director in 2022, based in his home province of Saskatchewan.

For more than a decade, Robin has been actively involved in numerous volunteer capacities to help improve outcomes for those touched by cancer. In June of each year, he can often be found wearing incredible plaid suits as he raises awareness about prostate cancer and men’s health for the #PlaidforDad event during the Father’s Day season.

Robin holds a bachelor’s degree in political studies from the University of Saskatchewan, a master’s in public policy and management from the University of York, and a postgraduate certificate in creative writing from the University of Edinburgh.
