Dr. McGregor’s research focuses on the examination of organizational characteristics associated with differences in health service delivery and outcomes in frail elder populations. Her work has examined staffing levels, hospitalization, emergency department visit rates and site of death at B.C’s long-term care facilities by facility ownership and organizational characteristics. She has also studied the impact of socio-economic status on hospital utilization and changes over time for patients hospitalized with pneumonia.
